Putnam Valley High School held its first annual NCAA Celebration Wednesday, honoring 22 seniors who will be playing college sports.
The students, who have committed to play at Division I, II and III levels, will play or participate in sports like baseball, cheerleading, football, lacrosse, softball, soccer, track and field, volleyball, rowing, and wrestling.
“These student-athletes worked extremely hard over the last four years,” said Putnam Valley Athletic Director Brian Burrow. “We look forward to following their careers in college...It is truly an honor to play college sports.”
The honorees and the schools they will attend are:

Samantha Bruno, cheerleading--Adelphi University

Chris Crawford, baseball--Roger Williams College
Conner Cronin, lacrosse--Western New England University

Raquel Escoto, volleyball--SUNY Potsdam
