Witnesses alerted officers immediately after the Friday night incident on airport property, the authority’s Joseph Pentangelo told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

Port Authority police found the black 2009 Lincoln Town Car in a parking lot of Building 433 on Brewster Road, just opposite the airport exit, Pentangelo said.

After speaking with 40-year-old Robert Noel, they took him into custody, he said.

Noel was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and reckless driving.

EMS treated the victim, a 40-year-old Newark man, for pain in his right leg, Pentangelo said.
