Man Charged With Shoplifting From Southeast Home Depot

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. – Andrew M. DePalma, 27, of Danbury, Conn. was charged Oct. 17 with shoplifting at the Home Depot in Southeast, officials said.

Putnam County Sheriff’s Department responded to the store on reports of a shoplifter who had been detained by store loss prevention personnel.

DePalma was remanded to the Putnam County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500 cash bail.

If found guilty of the misdemeanor charge, he faces up to a year in jail and a fine of up to $1,000.
