CARMEL, N.Y. -- A Mahopac man was arrested for DWI after employees of a business he was visiting called the police to alert them he may be driving drunk, according to Carmel police.
Zurab Shakishvili, 43, was arrested on April 18, after Carmel police officers were able to track down his vehicle from a description provided by the employees of the business, said Chief Mike Cazzari.
When officers located Shakishvili's vehicle, they pulled him over for failing to maintain a single lane, Cazzari said.
Once stopped, officers determined that he was drunk and charged him with DWI and failure to maintain a single lane, police said.
He was released on his own recognizance.
