Carmel Man Driving Erratically Busted For DWI, Police Say

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Carmel man was busted by Town of Kent Police for drunk driving after being stopped on Route 52.

Angel Brito, 27, was arrested after he was stopped by Officer Corey Ashe around 2 a.m. Nov. 20, when he was spotted driving erratically on Route 52, said Kent Police Chief Alex DiVernieri.

Brito was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 13.
