Upon arriving at a residence on Gobblers Knob Road in Dover, troopers found several potted marijuana plants growing inside and outside the residence.

Police then arrested 29-year-old Alicia S. Scaperotti, and 33-year-old Jeremy J. Gamache, both of Dover, for criminal possession of marijuana in the fifth degree and unlawfully growing cannabis, both misdemeanors.

Gamache had fled on foot from the residence, but was later apprehended that same evening.

Pursuant to this investigation it was also discovered that a neighbor, Vincent Jones, 33 years old, attempted to conceal physical evidence by taking a few of the marijuana plants from the suspects' property, police said.

Jones was subsequently arrested and charged with tampering with physical evidence, a Class E felony, and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Gamache and Scaperotti were arraigned before the Town of Dover Court and remanded to Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $5,000 bond. Both are scheduled to reappear at the Town of Dover Court at a later date.

Jones was issued an appearance ticket directing him to appear before the Town of Dover Court.
