Motorcycle Accident On Dutchess/Putnam Line Leads To Road Closure

FISHKILL, N.Y. -- A serious motorcycle accident Monday afternoon has resulted in the closure of a stretch of Route 9 in Fishkill near the Putnam County line.

The accident, which occurred around 1:15 p.m., is between I-84 and Snook Road.

The accident, which occurred around 1:15 p.m., is between I-84 and Snook Road.

It's the second major accident of the day in Fishkill. A two-vehicle head-on collision occurred around 9:45 a.m. on West Main Street (Route 9D) between Church Street and Givens Avenue in Wappingers Falls.
