A man from Wappingers Falls who physically and sexually assaulted a woman in front of her child may spend the rest of his life in prison after being sentenced.

Dominique Gomez, 27, was found guilty on charges that include predatory sexual assault (a Class A-II felony), first-degree criminal sex act, first-degree assault and first-degree burglary (all Class B felonies), second-degree strangulation (a Class D felony) and endangering the welfare of a child, a Class A misdemeanor.
