Here are the first five of my 15 beliefs that will finally give “Putnam Back to the People”.  Stay tuned for the next 5…

  1. I BELIEVE that our County's Priorities should always be the Health and Safety of its resident with an emphasis upon our infrastructure and environment.
  2. I BELIEVE our County government should be balanced. One party rule is dangerous and doesn’t reflect the interests of all our residents.

  3. I BELIEVE a portion of our excess sales tax should go back to the Towns whose infrastructures and businesses generated the sales tax.

  4. I BELIEVE our County should "pay as we go" for most projects and stop the endless bonding that has now put us over $70 million in debt.

  5. I BELIEVE our County should utilize all of its resources to keep taxes low and stabilized.  Any money saved should always go back to the taxpaying public WHO PUT IT THERE.

If you believe, vote Sam Oliverio -- County Executive on November 4th. For more information, visit his website.
