Timothy Keith, a supervisor in the patrol division,  was among 228 law enforcement officials who attended the 268th Session of the Academy.

The FBI National Academy is a ten-week program of advanced communication, leadership and fitness training.  Less than one percent of America’s law enforcement officials are selected to attend the program.

Sergeant Keith joins the ranks of 10 other active members of the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office who are alumni of the Academy.

“I know I speak for all of Sergeant Keith’s colleagues here in the Sheriff’s Office when I say how very proud we are of him for his years of distinguished service and for this, his most recent accomplishment, his graduation from the FBI National Academy," Sheriff Don Smith said. “The entire Keith family deserves our thanks for their collective sacrifices and support, which ultimately enabled Tim to attend the academy."
