Christina Coulter is an eager and tenacious reporter from Wilton, Connecticut. After attending Wilton High School, Christina graduated from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY, in 2017 with a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing. She was President of Marist's Literary Arts Society, which published academic journal "The Fox Forum" and creative magazine "The Mosaic."

Throughout her college career, Christina interned for and contributed to publications in the Northeast, including The Wilton Bulletin and The Millbrook Independent. In 2016, Christina was taken on as an intern by Ulster Publishing, and regularly contributed to the Kingston Times, the Woodstock Times, the New Paltz Times and the Saugerties Times. 

After her summer-long internship with Ulster Publishing came to an end, Christina became a freelancer for the company until she earned an undergraduate degree. Then, she assumed the role of lead reporter of the Saugerties Times, where she worked until the economic impact of COVID-19 halted the printing of the publication.

Alert Issued For Man Wanted On Sexual Misconduct Charge In Area A Putnam County man is wanted on a bench warrant for sexual misconduct, police said.  Michael W. Potter, 32, last known residences were in Patterson, and Memphis, TN, according to the Putnam County Sheriff's Department. Police said he stands at 6-foot-1, weighs about 170 pounds, has numerous tattoos, brown hair, and blue eyes.  Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Department’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation at 845-225-4300.

Two Women Walk Out Of Area Walmart With Over $1,000 In Items Apiece, Police Say Two women stole over $1000 each in merchandise from an area Walmart and were both charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, according to state police.  The incident took place in Orange County at a Walmart location in Monroe on Saturday, Dec. 12, according to state police.  Erika Vargas of Manhattan, 38, reportedly left the store with $1,229.97 in merchandise she had not paid for, while Brooke Lee of the Bronx, 24, made off with items valued at a collectively $1,006.95.  Both women will appear in the Town of Monroe Court later this month.

Man Charged After Masturbating In Public Parking Lot, Authorities Say A 23-year-old Fairfield County man was arrested for masturbating in a public parking lot in Putnam County, police said.  On Thursday, Dec. 10, State Police at the Brewster barracks said they responded to reports of a man masturbating in a public parking lot on Route 22 in the town of Southeast at approximately 7:15 p.m. Maxwell D. Cleary of Bethel was charged with the misdemeanor of public lewdness.  Cleary will appear in the town of Southeast Court in December to answer his charges.
