The program is specially for teenage girls, and includes twice daily yoga classes that work on breathing, meditation, and relaxation techniques. Campers also will take part in daily workshops dealing with self empowerment, positive thinking, and creative visualization.
Girls at the camp will learn how to increase strength and flexibility, improver posture and confidence, learn to calm the mind and relieve tension, build positive energy and remain motivated, as well as realize the body and mind's amazing power.
The weeklong class will be held twice, with sessions June 29 to July 3, and Aug. 17 to 21. The cost of attendance is $350 for Saw Mill Club Members, and $400 for non-members. Those interested in attending should contact yoga director Kathleen Goldring at kgoldring@sawmillclub.com to reserve space.
