Tractor-Trailer Becomes Lodged Under Train Overpass In Port Chester, Closes Road

A road in Westchester had to be closed after a tractor-trailer became lodged underneath a train overpass, officials said.

The incident happened on Thursday morning, Oct. 12 in Port Chester, when a tractor-trailer became lodged under the train overpass on King Street between Adee Street and Summerfield Park, according to Port Chester village officials.

The incident prompted the Port Chester Fire Department and MTA Police to close the road at the overpass. Crews have remained at the scene for several hours, officials said.

Motorists in the area are asked to use an alternate route and avoid the area if possible.
