Police Sergeant In Westchester Dies Suddenly: 'Highly Respected'
A town in Northern Westchester is mourning the loss of Sergeant Greg Walz, a highly respected law enforcement officer who served his community for nearly two decades.
Walz, a member of the Pound Ridge Police Department, died at the age of 55 on Friday night, Feb. 14 following a medical emergency, town officials announced on Saturday, Feb. 15.

ID Released For Man Killed In Head-On Westchester Crash
A man killed in a head-on crash in Northern Westchester has been identified.
Diego Trejo, 22, of Pound Ridge, was killed around 9:20 p.m., Monday, Dec. 16, on South Bedford Road, said Bedford Police Lt. Andrew Bellantone.
According to Bellantone, a preliminary investigation found that a 2018 BMW 750I traveling eastbound collided head-on with Trejo's 2004 Acura TSX sedan traveling westbound.
Trejo was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, police said.

Two Men, Woman Arrested Following Altercation At Westchester Tavern
Three people were arrested following an altercation at a Northern Westchester tavern that left one man injured.
The incident began about 11:10 p.m., Wednesday, April 17, when a dispute broke out among several people who knew each other inside O’Connor’s Public House at 222 East Main St. in Mount Kisco, said Kieran O'Leary, spokesman for the Westchester County Police.
