Victims Come Forward: Westchester Man Charged With Sex Offenses Against Children, DA Says
In the wake of a Westchester County man being charged with sex offenses against children, officials are asking any of his possible victims to come forward. The announcement comes after 22-year-old New Rochelle resident Jason Ricketts was arrested on Thursday, Feb. 2, after an investigation prompted by a referral from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, Westchester County District Attorney Miriam Rocah said. A 24-year-old man attending college in Connecticut has admitted to enticing four boys to engage in sexual activities over the Internet. Travis McCoy has waived his right to be indicted and pleaded guilty in Hartford District Court this week to one count of enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity. A 23-year-old registered sex offender in the Hudson Valley has been sentenced to nearly two decades behind bars after pleading guilty to posing as a child on social media to entice minors for sex.
