Victim Shot At Gas Station In Hudson Valley: Suspect Caught, Police Say A suspect has been apprehended following a shooting at a Hudson Valley gas station that left one person injured, police said. The incident happened in Putnam County on Friday evening, Nov. 10 in Kent at the Sunoco gas station at 1320 Route 52.  According to the Kent Police Department, arriving officers soon found a victim with a gunshot wound. Motorist Killed After Crashing Into Pillar In Front Of Hudson Valley Deli A 63-year-old man died after losing control of his vehicle and striking a pillar in front of a Hudson Valley deli, according to police in Putnam County. Edward Collins, of Holmes, a hamlet in the Town of Pawling, died around 7:30 a.m. Monday on Route 52, at Towners Road, after striking the pillar in front of Gino's Grab & Go Deli, said Kent Police Chief Alexander DiVernieri.
