Beloved Doctor, Vietnam Veteran From Westchester Dies: Remembered For Dedication To Patients
The Hudson Valley is mourning the loss of a cherished physician and community leader, Dr. Jeffrey S. Carr, who died peacefully after a brief illness.
Carr, a Northern Westchester resident who called Somers home, died on Tuesday, Dec. 17 at the age of 85, according to his obituary.
Born on Sept. 30, 1938, in Brooklyn to Edward and Minnie Carr, Carr was a proud Brooklyn native and lifelong Mets fan. Dr. Donald Gordon Of Ridgefield, With Two Offices In Fairfield County, Dies Suddenly
A "dedicated physician" with two offices in Fairfield County, Dr. Donald Gordon, of Ridgefield, died suddenly on Wednesday, Aug. 21, at age 64.
Gordon was born to Leo and Fryda Gordon on June 15, 1955, in Schenectady, New York.
Dr. Gordon earned his bachelor of science from American University in 1977, and a doctor of medicine (MD) from the Emory School of Medicine in 1981. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Emory Hospital in 1984 and his gastroenterology hepatology fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia in 1986.
