A New York mother is considering a lawsuit against Burger King after claiming she found human blood in her daughter’s meal.
Erie County resident Tiffany Floyd, of the hamlet of Getzville, recounted the horrifying incident in a now-viral TikTok video posted Friday, July 26.
In the clip, Floyd recounts how she stopped by a Getzville Burger King for lunch with her 4-year-old daughter and went through the drive-through.
“Obviously, I’m a busy mom, I just gave her the bag to eat the food,” she said. “And I heard, ‘Mom, I don’t want ketchup.’”

Two New York residents are accused of conning a medical supply company out of millions of dollars in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Long Island resident Jonathan Cannon, age 58, of Miller Place, and Erie County resident Julie Dotton, age 51, of Orchard Park, are both charged with wire fraud in a complaint unsealed in Central Islip federal court on Thursday, May 2.
According to prosecutors, a Canadian company serving as an official provider of personal protective equipment paid Cannon and Dotton $8.2 million for surgical masks needed due to the pandemic.

New York’s Democratic incumbent Gov. Kathy Hochul has been elected to her first full term in office, fending off her Republican challenger, Long Island Rep. Lee Zeldin, NBC News projects.
Hochul is leading Zeldin, who represents the state’s 1st Congressional District covering much of Suffolk County, by five percentage points, 52.7 to 47.3 percent, as of 6 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, with 93 percent of the vote counted.

Good Gourd: NY Farmer Breaks Record For Heaviest Pumpkin In North America
A farmer in upstate New York can make a whole lot of pies after squashing the record for the heaviest pumpkin ever grown in North America.
The 2,554-pound gourd was unveiled in Erie County Saturday, Oct. 1, at the World Pumpkin Weigh Off, held at the Great Pumpkin Farm in Clarence, located about 15 miles northeast of Buffalo.
Grown by Scott Andrusz, of Williamsville, it shattered the previous national record of 2,528 pounds, the farm announced.
Before then, the heaviest ever grown in New York was 2,517 pounds.

Covid-19: NY Couple Facing Felony Charges For Allegedly Entering Game With Fake Vaccine Card
A man and woman from New York are facing felony charges after authorities said they both presented fake COVID-19 vaccination cards to attend a Buffalo Bills game.
Michael Naab, age 34, and 37-year-old Amber Naab, both of West Seneca, were arraigned on Tuesday, Jan. 25, and each charged with one count of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, which is a Class D felony, the Erie County District Attorney John Flynn announced.
The couple is accused of presenting fake cards to attend the game on Saturday, Jan. 15, at Highmark Stadium.
