'Consummate Professional': Former Police Dispatcher From Port Chester Dies At Age 45
A former dispatcher for the Westchester County Police Department known for his professionalism and big heart has died unexpectedly. Port Chester resident Bryan Santucci died on Thursday, Nov. 3 at the age of 45, according to his obituary. Santucci was born in 1976 and graduated from Port Chester High School in 1995, later earning his bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Pace University in Pleasantville, his obituary said. School District In Westchester Installs Strobe Lights As Security Measure
In an effort to keep students, parents, and visitors to Ossining schools safe during emergencies, the district has installed a new safety measure at a time when school shootings are becoming commonplace. According to Raymond Sanchez, superintendent of the Ossining School District, the district has installed blue strobe lights on the exterior of all buildings districtwide that will alert anyone outside of a potential threat.
