25-Year-Old Accused Of Stabbing Victim Outside Bar In Westchester
An investigation has led to the arrest of a man in connection to a stabbing outside a bar in Northern Westchester. New York State Police say the suspect, Luis F. Contreras Paredes, age 25, of Peekskill, engaged in a physical altercation and stabbed the victim in Cortlandt on Crompond Road (Route 202) outside of My Second House Bar. on Wednesday, May 29. Paredes was charged with assault in the second degree, a Class D felony. Contreras Paredes was turned over to the custody of Westchester County Corrections for an active, unrelated arrest warrant.

A 25-year-old man faces an assault charge after allegedly stabbing a victim outside of a bar in Northern Westchester, police announced. Peekskill resident Luis Contreras Paredes was arrested on Wednesday, May 29 in connection with an assault that happened outside of the My Second House Bar in Cortlandt at 2141 Crompond Rd., New York State Police announced on Friday, June 21. Two Store Clerks Charged During Underage Drinking Detail In Westchester, Putnam
Two store clerks were charged during an Underage Drinking Initiative in Westchester and Putnam counties. During the detail conducted on Friday, July 1, 14 retail establishments were checked for compliance utilizing a trooper in plainclothes and an underage operative utilizing a valid NY driver’s license, New York State Police said. Twelve establishments were in compliance and refused to sell any alcoholic beverages to the underage operative. Man Dies After Being Struck By Vehicle In Westchester
Police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash in Northern Westchester. It happened at approximately 11:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, on Crompond Road and Lafayette Avenue in the town of Cortlandt. When police arrrived, Peekskill Emergency Medical Services was already on scene rendering aid to the pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle and transported to Hudson Valley Hospital, state police said. Do you know him? New York State Police investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in tracking down a suspect caught on camera robbing a gas station with a knife in Cortlandt. The Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Cortlandt barracks released surveillance photos on Monday of a suspect implicated in a robbery that took place at approximately 11:50 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25 at the Mobil Mart on Crompond Road. Westchester Clerk Cited For Selling Alcohol To Underage Youth
A Northern Westchester gas station clerk was cited recently for selling beer to a 16-year-old who was assisting Westchester County Police with alcohol compliance checks at businesses that sell alcohol. The underage youth, under the supervision of county police, was sent into 17 stores in Cortlandt to attempt to buy a six-pack of beer. He was able to purchase beer on one occasion and was turned away at the other establishments.
