One Seriously Injured When Car Hits School Bus Head-On, Stamford Police Said An area woman is undergoing surgery after her car hit a school bus head-on in Stamford, police said. The incident took place around 12:21 p.m., Thursday, March 28, at 765 Newfield Ave., said Stamford Police Sgt.
