PORT CHESTER, N.Y. – John H. Byington, a lifelong resident of Port Chester, died Saturday, Feb. 21. He was 85.
Byington was born on July 8, 1929, to Herbert and Clara Hecker Byington.
He graduated from Port Chester High School and retired from Loral Electronics.
Byington is survived by his wife, Irene (nee Sury) Byington; son, John and wife Laurie; daughte,r Lorraine Jankowski and husband Michael; brother, Walter; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private at Byington's request.
