J. -- New Milford community leaders lent several hands during a recent ShopRite campaign "Help Bag Hunger," which is part of a nationwide campaign to fill the shelves of food pantries.Councilwomen Hedy Grant and Thea Sirocchi-Hurley were among the community leaders to help bag groceries at the New Milford ShopRite, one of 22 stores of Inserra Supermarkets to participate in the "Help Bag Hunger" campaign last month. Playwright Brings 'Little Creek' To South Salem SOUTH SALEM, N. Y. -- Dramatic readings of a new play that highlights family life amid racial tensions in the 1950s are planned for later this months at the Spring Street Arts Center at St. John's in South Salem. Multiple Car Accidents Keep Danbury Firefighters Busy On Sunday DANBURY, Conn. -- Sunday night proved busy for Danbury firefighters who responded to car accidents that left at least four people with injuries, according to the News-Times.The accidents involved cars hitting utility poles, and required extrication of several people who were pinned in their cars, the News-Times said.
