SUFFERN, N.Y. -- Thomas N. Ogden, of Suffern, died November 30. He was 71.
He was born Nov. 4, 1945, in Port Jervis, to Melvin and Lucille Ogden.
He was a production and packaging supervisor for several pharmaceutical and cosmetic companies. He was an honorary member of the Tuxedo Park Fire Department after serving 25-plus years of active membership.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia (nee Tanner); sons, Thomas (Susan), Brian (Michelle) and James; and grandchildren, Briana, Elizabeth, Gabriel and Michael.

Gregory R. Howard, 79, Of Poughkeepsie
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Gregory R. Howard, of Poughkeepsie, died Wednesday, Nov. 30. He was 79.
Born March 23, 1937, in Poughkeepsie, he was the son of the late Edward and Gladys Griffing Howard.
He worked as a technician at IBM in Fishkill until his retirement in 2012. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with friends from school, especially when visiting Canada. Family was very important to him, and he spent his life supporting the love of his life, his wife, Patricia, and their family.

He worked for more than 20 years in the commodities field at Brody White & Co. in New York and ended his career there as vice president. He loved carpentry and spending his free time perfecting his cooking skills.

TAPPAN, N.Y. -- Joseph I. Young, of Tappan, died Nov. 26. He was 82.
Born Aug. 31, 1934, in Brooklyn, to Joseph and Brona Young, he attended Richmond Hill High School and Hofstra University.
He worked for 30 years as field engineer and sales manager for Burroughs/Unisys and was a member of the National Guard for eight years. He also was a sailor, musician, skier, pilot and an active member of the Tappan Senior Club.

He was born Sept. 1, 1931, in Troy, Ala., to the late Willie D. Coston Sr. and Elizabeth Kitchen.
He was in the U.S. Air Force and received a National Defense Service Medal.
