Hudson Valley School Threat Deemed Unfounded, Police Say A threat against a Hudson Valley middle school caused an area-wide lockdown of schools and a large police response. The threat took place in Dutchess County on Friday, Feb. 24 at the Rombout Middle School in Beacon. According to Det. Sgt. Jason Johnson of the Beacon Police, the school received a call from an individual who made a specific threat. Police Searching For Armed Bank Robber In White Truck Police are asking the public for help locating a man who allegedly robbed an area Trustco Bank at gunpoint. The robbery took place in Fishkill around 11:59 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 29, when the man walked into the bank at 1545 Route 52 and demanded money while using a gun, said Town of Fishkill Police Lt. Man With Loaded Gun Urinates On Gas Station In Area, Police Say A man caught urinating on the side of a gas station found himself in the Dutchess County Jail. Cody Warner, of Lauderdale, Mississippi, was arrested on Sunday, July 14, after Town of Fishkill Police Officer John Hurtado saw him urinating on the side of Flory's Gas Station, located on Route 9 in the Village of Fishkill, Chief James Schepperly said. Warner was also carrying a loaded 45-caliber Ruger handgun, police said. He was charged with felony criminal possession of a loaded weapon. Bail was set at $25,000 cash/$50,000 bail and is being held at the Dutchess County Jail.

ID Released For Fishkill Fatal Crash Victim A Beacon woman has been identified as the victim in a two-vehicle fatal crash in Fishkill that closed Route 9D for hours. Hilary R. Holmes, 49, was killed when the crash occurred around 9 a.m. Monday between a 2009 Honda Accord and a 2013 International box truck after she lost control of the vehicle, said Capt.
