John J. Mitchell, 52, was arrested around 12:15 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, after Red Hook Police officers responded to a report of a physical dispute at an area home, Red Hook Police said. State Police began the investigation of a robbery at the Bank of Millbrook’s Stanfordville Branch, located at 11 Hunns Lake Road, in the Town of Stanford on Aug. 7, 2017 at approximately 1:13 p.m. A male subject entered the bank, displayed what appeared to be a handgun, and stole over $12,000 in cash, police said.
