37-Year-Old Man Dies After Stabbing In Westchester: Suspect At Large Authorities are investigating a stabbing that left a 37-year-old man dead in Westchester.  The incident happened on Thursday, Aug. 1 around 10:20 p.m., when the victim was taken to the Mount Vernon Hospital Emergency Room after being stabbed numerous times at the intersection of Union Avenue and East 3rd Street in Mount Vernon, according to city officials.  Despite best efforts, the victim died at the hospital. 25-Year-Old From Peekskill Accused Of Stabbing Victim Outside Bar On Route 202 An investigation has led to the arrest of a man in connection to a stabbing outside a bar in Northern Westchester. New York State Police say the suspect, Luis F. Contreras Paredes, age 25, of Peekskill, engaged in a physical altercation and stabbed the victim in Cortlandt on Crompond Road (Route 202) outside of My Second House Bar. on Wednesday, May 29. Paredes was charged with assault in the second degree, a Class D felony. Contreras Paredes was turned over to the custody of Westchester County Corrections for an active, unrelated arrest warrant.
