Garcia, 18, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested around 4 p.m., on Tuesday, Sept. 3, following an investigation, said Capt. Michael O’Dowd, Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department. According to O'Dowd, police were called to the store at 2001 South Road (Route 9) were store officials told police that Garcia had allegedly stole more than $4,000 over a three-week period.
