Man Pushes Elderly Neighbor To Ground During Argument In Area An area man was arrested after allegedly pushing an elderly neighbor to the ground during a dispute. Shawn Garrison, 38, of the Town of Poughkeepsie, was charged with assault around 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 3, following the dispute, said Town of Poughkeepsie Police Capt. Michael O'Dowd. Garrison was arrested after police responded to Crestwood Boulevard for a report of a neighbor dispute.  A police investigation determined that Garrison was arguing with his 77-year-old neighbor.
