The Dutchess County incident began in LaGrange around 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 11, when New York State Police responded to the Walgreens on Route 55 for a reported robbery, said Trooper AJ Hicks. Dutchess County resident Robin P. Alvarez, age 59, of East Fishkill, was killed during the crash that took place around 3:15 p.m., Tuesday, March 8 on Route 55 and South Cross Road in LaGrange. 18-Year-Old Charged With Raping Victim Twice In Area, Police Say An 18-year-old has been charged with forcibly raping a victim on two separate occasions in the area. State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested the teen on two counts of first-degree rape, a Class B felony.
