The incident happened in Dutchess County on Friday, Feb. 10 at approximately 2:20 p.m. in the parking lot of the Extra Mart located at 2 West Market St. in the village of Red Hook. Area Man Charged With Murder After Victim Found On Front Lawn An area man is facing a murder charge after he was caught by police standing over a fatal stabbing victim, authorities announced. Dutchess resident Robert Streib, 36, of Red Hook, was arrested on Sunday, Nov. 3, and remanded to Columbia County Jail without bail following his arrest at approximately 1 a.m., following reports of the stabbing. The incident took place around 8 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 15, when New York State Police received a 911 call about a reported disturbance involving a gun and shots fired at a home in Red Hook, said Trooper AJ Hicks.
