Roadway Reopens After Large Protest This story has been updated. A stretch of I-84 has reopened after hundreds protesting police-related deaths entered the highway. The closure, in both directions, was between exits 4 and 5 in Danbury on Wednesday, June 3 and lasted about an hour, starting just before 2:30 p.m. The protest began on Main Street early in the afternoon with more than 1,000 people.
