As word spreads that Judith Clark, the getaway driver in the infamous Brinks robbery in 1981 has been granted parole, law enforcement officials are expressing their outrage. The decision follows Clark's parole hearing earlier this month after serving 36 years at Bedford Correctional Facility for her role in the robbery that left two Nyack police officers and a Brinks guard dead. Ex-Cop To Be Released From Prison 20 Years After Fatal Shooting Outside Deli In Westchester
A longtime Westchester County resident and former New York City police officer will be released from prison on Jan. 7, 2019, after serving nearly 20 years behind bars for killing another man. Wanted Felon Faces Multiple Charges After Violent Domestic Incident
A wanted 24-year-old Rockland County man on parole for a prior felony incident is behind bars, facing multiple charges after a violent domestic incident. Members of the Monticello Police Department, with assistance from Sullivan County Sheriff deputies and New York State Police, arrested Anthony Joseph Heim of Spring Valley, on Friday, Nov. 23. Sex Offenders Allowed To Vote In Upcoming Primary, But 'Only After 7 p.m.'
This story has been updated. New Yorkers who plan to vote in next week’s primary elections should be forewarned. For the first time, thousands of registered sex offenders and paroled pedophiles are now allowed to vote at school polling places— but only after 7 p.m., according to state officials. The state primary is on Thursday, Sept. 13 and the general election is on Tuesday, Nov. 6. In May, Gov. Andrew Cuomo of New Castle issued a blanket pardon that gave 24,000 parolees the right to vote. Westchester District Attorney Ends Bail For Most Misdemeanors
