The incident occurred in Rockland County around 2:45 p.m. on Sunday, July 30 at the Nyack Marina in Nyack.  The Orangetown Police were notified of a body found in the water near the boat launch at the Nyack Marina, said Capt. A man who attempted to jump from the new Tappan Zee Bridge was rescued by troopers and a special police unit who rappelled over the side of the bridge and pulled him up with ropes.
