19: School Goes Remote After Positive Test In Hudson Valley
Another school in the Hudson Valley was forced to revert back to remote learning after a positive COVID-19 case was confirmed. Acting Schools Superintendent Dwight Bonk issued a letter to parents on Friday, Nov. 6 cautioning that the district was made aware of a person inside the Wappingers Junior High School community tested positive for the virus. 19: School In Area Goes To Remote Learning After Positive Case
A school in the area has returned to remote learning for at least 24 hours after a person tested positive for COVID-19. According to the Wappingers Central School District, the person associated with Gayhead Elementary School in Hopewell Junction tested positive for COVID on Sunday, Oct. 25, and is currently in isolation. An area high school will be transitioning to its remote learning model for the rest of the week following a confirmed positive COVID-19 case in the building. Beacon Schools Superintendent Matt Landahl announced that the district received a report of a positive COVID-19 case at Beacon High School early on Wednesday, Oct. 28, and may have exposed others to the virus. There has been a new school closure due to a positive case of COVID-19 in the Hudson Valley. The school, in Sullivan County, is the George L.
