Road Closure Scheduled For Busy Route 9 Stretch Motorists can expect delays this week for a busy stretch of Route 9 as contracting crews continue overnight construction work in the area. The New York State Department of Transportation announced that north and southbound lanes in Fishkill will be closed from 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29 to 6 a.m. on Thursday, May 30. During the lane closures, motorists will see delays, and have been advised to seek alternate routes, when possible.
