Westchester Man Nabbed Hiding In Shed Following Robbery, Police Say
A Hudson Valley man was captured hiding in a shed after allegedly robbing an area gas station.
Daniel Davis, age 39, of Mount Vernon, was arrested on Sunday, March 6, after allegedly robbing the Speedway Gas Station in the village of Mamaroneck.
The incident took place around 4:30 a.m. when officers responded to the gas station located at 731 Mamaroneck Ave., for a hold-up alarm, said Lt. Mark Gatta, of the Mamaroneck Police.

A Westchester man was arrested for allegedly robbing and menacing several people over a two-day period.
Larry Lopez, age 29, of New Rochelle, was arrested on Tuesday, Oct. 12, after police found him crawling out of a basement window of a home.
According to Capt. J. Collins Coyne, of the New Rochelle Police, the chain of events that led to Lopez's arrest began around 9:30 a.m., Monday, Oct. 11 when police responded to a report of a robbery at the intersection of Drake Avenue and John Street.

Three men have been arrested in connection with a robbery in which a woman was robbed and pushed from a moving vehicle.
The incident took place around 4:45 a.m., on Friday, Oct. 18, in the area of Liberty and Bridge streets, said City of Beacon Police Det. Sgt. Jason Johnson.

Man Threatens Postal Worker With Knife In Mohegan Lake
A postal worker in the area was threatened by a man with a knife, state police said.
At approximately 1:30 p.m. on Friday, July 26, state police troopers were dispatched to the Mohegan Lake Post Office on East Main Street in the town of Cortlandt for a report of a man with a knife.
An investigation found Charles Coles, 54, of Cortlandt, used a pocket knife to threaten a postal worker in the parking lot, police said.
Coles was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, a Class D felony, and menacing, a Class A misdemeanor.
