Road Rage: Man Apprehended After Firing Shotgun During Hudson Valley Incident, Police Say
A Hudson Valley man was charged with allegedly firing a shot and threatening a person with a shotgun following a road rage incident. The incident took place in Orange County around 7:30 p.m., on Monday, Feb. 20 in the town of Montgomery. Officers responded to an address on Route 17K near Scott’s Corners Drive for a reported disturbance involving a firearm, said Montgomery Chief of Police John Hank. A woman from the area was charged for allegedly attacking two people with a hammer during a fight between neighbors. The incident took place in Orange County around 12:25 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 5 in the town of Wallkill. Four men have been arraigned for an armed home burglary at a residence in the area. The incident took place in Rockland County in the south Spring Valley area around 5 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 5. The Ramapo Police Department received a report of a trespass in progress at a residence in which the suspects were armed with a handgun, said Det. Lt. Christopher Franklin of the Ramapo Police. A knife-wielding man was apprehended after allegedly physically attacking two people with an order of protection in place in the region. A New York man is behind bars, accused of stabbing his landlord during an argument over a TV remote, authorities said. Police in Columbia County were called at around 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, with reports of a stabbing in the city of Hudson, at a home near Columbia and North Second streets. An investigation revealed that 52-year-old Randy Shook stabbed his 66-year-old landlord during an argument over possession of a TV remote, Hudson Police said. A Hudson Valley man has been charged with allegedly hitting another person in the head numerous times with a rock during a violent assault. A man was arrested for allegedly pointing a gun during a dispute in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place in Putnam County around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 15 in Mahopac. According to Lt. Michael Bodo, of the Carmel Police, officers were dispatched to the area of 912 Route 6 in Mahopac for a possible person with a gun.
