New York State Police say they stopped a motorist on I-787 in the city of Albany for a violation on Sunday, Aug. 11 around 11:15 p.m. The driver, identified as Chandler Meekins, 56, of Wappingers Falls, was found to be intoxicated, police say. Operator Of Limo Company Charged With Negligent Homicide For Crash That Killed 20 The operator and son of the owner of the limousine company involved in the horrific weekend crash that resulted in 20 fatalities in upstate New York over the weekend has been arrested and charged with criminally negligent homicide, state police announced at a Wednesday afternoon press conference.
