Recall Issued For Multiple Eye Ointment Brands Due To Possible Risk Of Infection A recall has been issued for multiple brands of eye ointment products due to the "lack of sterility assurance at the facility" of the manufacturer during an inspection conducted by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). "For those patients who use these products, there is a potential risk of eye infections or related harm," the FDA said. "These products are intended to be sterile. Injured Student Airlifted From Area Elementary School, Police Say Police rushed to the scene at an area school after a report of an injured student. Fishkill Police said officers responded to the Brinckerhoff Elementary School around 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 20, for a student who suffered an unspecified injury and was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center. The school is located at 16 Wedgewood Road in Fishkill. School officials were not available for comment.  Additional information or details were not immediately available. This is a developing story. (See image above.) A Heat Advisory issued by the National Weather Service will be in effect from 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28 until 9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29. A Heat Advisory is issued when the combination of heat and humidity is expected to make it feel like it is 95 to 99 degrees for two or more consecutive days, or 100 to 104 degrees for any length of time.
