Drunk Driver Leads Troopers On Thruway Chase, Intentionally Strikes Cop Cars, Police Say A 29-year-old man is facing multiple charges after allegedly leading New York State Police troopers on a highway chase before intentionally striking two police vehicles, authorities said. The incident began at around 11:15 p.m. Thursday, March 2, when troopers in Greene County attempted to stop Angelo Paradiso, of Palenville, for a traffic violation on the northbound Thruway near Catskill, according to state police. Paradiso, who was driving a Chevrolet Cobalt, allegedly refused to stop and a chase ensued. Troopers deployed a tire deflation device near mile marker 106, causing Paradiso’s …

Woman Killed In Head-On Route 9W Crash A 41-year-old woman was killed during a head-on crash when a car veered into her lane of travel. The crash took place in on Route 9W around 6. p.m., Saturday, Sept. 24 in the town of Athens in Greene County. According to Capt. Teen Charged With Shooting 20-Year-Old In Area A 17-year-old boy has been arrested for allegedly shooting a man in the area. The incident took place around 8:36 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 11, when Dutchess County Sheriff's deputies responded to a 911 call on Clay Hill Road in the Village of Tivoli, said authorities.
