UConn Expected To Rejoin Big East Conference UConn’s men’s basketball program hasn’t been the same since it left the Big East Conference seven years ago. Now it appears the Huskies will leave the American Athletic Conference and be back in the Big East for all sports except football, according to multiple reports. The news that the invitation to rejoin the conference could come as early as next week was first reported by Digital News Desk.
