Alleged Gang Member Sentenced For Westchester Shooting An alleged gang member will spend more than a decade behind bars for a shooting in Westchester. Bronx resident Dahjauntay Douglas, 22, was sentenced to 12 years in state prison followed by five years of post-release supervision after pleading guilty to first-degree assault in July for his role in a shooting in Mount Vernon last year. On Oct. 4 last year, Douglas fired two shots on Gramatan Avenue, near the West Sidney Avenue intersection in Mount Vernon, Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpino, Jr., said.
