Man Accused Of Pointing Loaded Gun At Police Officer In Hudson Valley A domestic violence call in the Hudson Valley turned into a standoff between a man with a loaded gun and a police officer. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 1:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 17 in Beacon. Beacon Police received a 911 call for a domestic disturbance between a man and woman on Fishkill Avenue, said Lt. Water Main Break Closes Major Roadway In Area A water main break has closed a major Beacon roadway for at least the next several hours, Beacon Police said. The break at 388 Fishkill Ave., has closed the road for a long stretch from Blackburn Avenue to Prospect Street, police said around 9:45 a.m. Thursday, March 28. Water department and transportation officials are on the scene working to fix the break, police said. Eight Northern Westchester Residents Charged With DWI In Thanksgiving Details New York State Police troopers busted more than two dozen motorists who were allegedly driving while impaired over the Thanksgiving holiday in the area. The local residents charged were: Westchester County On Wednesday, Nov. 21, State Police troopers from Somers arrested James G. Donofrio, 51, of North Castle, for DWI.
