Man High On Drugs Crashes Into Storefront In Area, Police Say A 40-year-old man has been charged with DWI/Drugs after crashing his vehicle in a storefront earlier in the week. Orange County resident David A. Bergsma, of Wallkill, was arrested for the crash that took place around 11:40 a.m., Monday, Nov. 11, at the Rite Aid Pharmacy on North Road, in Poughkeepsie, said Town of Poughkeepsie Police Capt. Michael O'Dowd. Pickup Truck Crashes Into Rite Aid On Route 9 A Rite Aid in the area is closed for at least rest of the day after a pickup truck crashed into the store, the Fairview Fire District said. The Rite Aid is located on Route 9 (at 3350 North Road) across from Marist College in Poughkeepsie. The incident happened just before noontime. There has been no word on any possible injuries sustained by the driver, who is described as an unidentified man. Town of Poughkeepsie Police and other emergency responders remain at the scene.
