Man Nabbed For Allegedly Shoplifting More Than $1.8K In Merchandise From Macy's Town of Poughkeepsie Police arrested a 19-year-old man for allegedly stealing more than $1.000 worth of merchandise from a Macy's. Elija M. Collins, of Troy, was arrested on Friday, May 17, after officers were called to the store at 2001 South Road, about a shoplifter who left the store and fled in a vehicle, said Town of Poughkeepsie Police Capt. Kevin Faber. Responding officers located Collins' vehicle on Route 9 and upon stopping it, they allegedly found more than $1,000 worth of stolen merchandise from the store on the rear passenger seat, Faber said.  Upon a further investigation…
