Teen Electrocuted, Killed Trying To Fix Faulty Heater At Jewish Bath House In Catskills: Source A 17-year-old boy from Monsey died after being electrocuted while trying to repair a faulty heater at a mikvah, a ritualistic Jewish bathhouse, in Upstate New York, Daily Voice has learned. As first reported by Yeshiva World News, the teen was at a camp in Kerhonkson on Aug. 20 when the incident occurred.  Catskills Hatzalah paramedics found him in cardiac arrest, revived him, and rushed him to a hospital in Poughkeepsie before transferring him to Westchester Medical Center, the outlet said. Luís Alberto Marcatoma was working on a restoration project at the New Haven course on Aug. 21 when a downed power line electrocuted him, Yale Public Safety Chief Duane Lovello has said. John B. Nuzzolo, of Newburgh, died Monday around 9:17 a.m.while removing the tree at 29 Maple Road, in Cornwall-on-Hudson. Man Electrocuted While Removing Tree In Hudson Valley A 39-year-old man was killed while removing a tree in the Hudson Valley, according to police. John B. Nuzzolo of Newburgh, who was a sub-contractor for Simply Stump Grinding & Tree Removal, was working about 40-feet above the ground around 9:17 a.m. Monday to remove the tree at 29 Maple Road, said Cornwall-on-Hudson police. Nuzzolo then hit a live power line and was electrocuted and killed, police added.
