Brand Of Protein Bars Recalled Because Of Possible E. Coli Contamination More than 4,000 individual protein bars are being recalled because of potential E. Coli contamination, the US Food & Drug Administration (FDA) reports.  The recall covers 4,196 "Banana Cream Pie Puffs" protein bars produced by Built Brands, LLC. of American Fork, UT, the FDA says. The bars pose a "serious health risk" including diarrhea, severe stomach cramps and vomiting.  The bars, which come in 40 gram packages, were distributed by mail to more than 1,000 customers nationwide. The packages are marked with lot # D22151011 on the outside of the wrapper, the FDA says…

Missa Bay, LLC, a Swedesboro, New Jersey, company, is recalling approximately 97,272 pounds of salad products that contain meat or poultry because the lettuce ingredient may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced. Recall Expanded For All-Purpose Flour Product King Arthur Flour announced the expansion of a voluntary nationwide recall of a popular all-purpose flour product due to concerns of E.coli contamination. “We are taking this voluntary precautionary step because of the potential presence of E. coli 026 which was discovered through sampling,” the company announced. “To date, we have not received any confirmed reports of illnesses related to this product, which was produced prior to February 2019.” The flour was milled in New York and distributed through retailers and distributors throughout the company.
