Nearly two dozen drivers were busted by New York State Police officers for alleged impaired driving on area roadways this past week.

On Friday, July 12, State Police from Brewster arrested Ismael Martinez Trinidad, 29, of North Salem, for DWI. He was traveling on Tonetta Lake Road in Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

Man Charged With DWI In I-287 Stop Had BAC Twice Legal Limit, Police Say
A 31-year-old man has been charged with DWI after police say he was stopped on I-287 with a BAC of twice the legal limit.
New York State Police say they stopped a vehicle for a violation on I-287 on Saturday, June 29 around 2:30 a.m.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as Errol Hibbert II, of White Plains, was found to be intoxicated, police say.
Hibbert was taken into custody, transported and processed at State Police barracks in New Rochelle, where his BAC was tested at .22, according to police.
