Cortlandt Man Who Crashed Into Pole Was Impaired, Police Say A Cortlandt man was charged with driving while high on drugs after crashing into a utility pole, according to New York State Police. Michael L. Wyskida, 30, was charged around 6:30 p.m. Sunday, April 1, with felony driving while ability impaired by drugs with a prior conviction within 10 years after troopers observed his vehicle collide with a utility pole, said Spokesman Trooper AJ Hicks. An investigation determined that Wyskida was under the influence of drugs and was arrested. He was issued traffic tickets and released with a court date of April 16.
